Manual Configuration Steps
Open Chrome Settings
Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner and select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.
Access Security Panels
On the left navigation pane, click on the 'Privacy and security' tab to access site permissions.
Navigate to Site Settings
Select 'Site Settings' to manage what information websites can use and what content they can show you.
Disable Pop-ups
Find 'Pop-ups and redirects'. Ensure the setting is toggled to "Don't allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects".

Check for unauthorized extensions in chrome://extensions that may have permissions to overlay content.
